A Perfectly Nice Family was my second read by Nicole Trope, and she absolutely delivered again. Suspenseful, unsettling, and packed with paranoia, this story had me feeling everything right alongside the characters.

I was shocked more times than I can count — and every twist seemed to come out of nowhere.

Just when I thought I had it all figured out halfway through… boom. Another jaw-dropping turn.

The vivid scenes, layered character perspectives, and perfectly placed backstory made it feel like I’d been part of this family from the very beginning.

I am still catching my breath after finishing this one! Nicole Trope has a god-tier talent for taking a seemingly "normal" domestic setup and turning it into a pressure cooker of tension.

What absolutely made this book for me was the **multiple perspectives**. I’ve always loved stories told from different points of view, and Trope uses that device perfectly here. It felt like I was peeking through different windows of the same house, seeing the cracks in the "perfect" facade from angles I didn't expect. Each voice added a new layer of dread, making it impossible to put down because I just *had* to know how all those threads were going to collide.

From the first page I knew this was going to be good and boy i wasn't wrong. A multi layered read that grips you from the start and cleverly weaves a tense and unsettling tale of people you just don't know how to trust. It builds suspense well and keeps twisting the knife, I loved it!

I didn’t even know what I was getting myself into with this book but it was so.good! It’s succinct, intriguing and such an easy read (although increased my anxiety near the end!). The storyline was so good, thought out, and that epilogue? Ah-mazing.
